January 2003 to Present, Founded the Post Institute for Family-Centered Therapy. Based in Oklahoma City, OK. Serves families worldwide. The Post Institute specializes in providing treatment and training to families and therapists around the world. Recognized attachment and trauma expertise across the United States including Alaska, Australia, Canada, Europe, and Puerto Rico. Offices located in Colorado, Virginia, Ohio, and Florida.

Spring 2003 to Present, Visiting Professor: Santa Barbara Graduate Institute, Santa Barbara, CA. Instructed course to doctoral students in the area pre-and peri-natal theory and treatment, with a special focus on attachment between parent and child utilizing the Stress Model concept.

January 2003 to January 2005, Lecturer for C.M.I. Education Institute. Provide lectures across the United States in the understanding, treatment, and parenting of traumatized and difficult children utilizing the latest findings from the field of neuroscience.

June 1999 to 2002, Private Practice and Consultation: International Focus USA/Canada. Provide consultation, treatment, and training throughout the United States and Canada on issues specific to severe childhood and family disturbance. Areas of expertise: Attachment Disorders, Adoption, Foster Care, and treatment of related behavioral and emotional disorders

Presented lectures throughout the United States on Children and Teens Who Perform Violent Acts and The Understanding and Assessment of Attachment Disorder in Children and Families; Consistently received positive evaluations throughout the country for dynamic presentation style

July 2001 to December 2001; Contract; Reynolds Army Community Hospital; Clinical Social Worker; Ft. Sill, OK
Primary responsibilities include providing clinical services to families referred to the Family Advocacy Program, general focus on domestic violence intervention, in addition to consulting with Administrative staff to develop research studies and protocol to achieve recognition as Center of Excellence for the Study of Child Abuse Prevention

June 1999 to March 2001 Attachment and Bonding Center of Oklahoma; Clinical Consultant; Ardmore, OK
Developed the center with a statewide focus on treating children and families suffering from attachment disorders. Supervised and trained four therapist in the assessment, understanding, and treatment process of working with attachment disturbed clientele.

May 1998 to March 2001 Child and Family Guidance Center, Inc.; Co-Founder/ CEO/ Clinical Director; Ardmore, OK
Employed, supervised, and directed a staff of 30 employees between two offices with an annual revenue approaching one million dollars. Generally regarded throughout the community as the most effective and efficient mental health center in southern Oklahoma. Guidance Center remains in operation today employing well over 30 employees covering five counties.

May 1997 to April 1998 Texas Department of Protective and Regulatory Services; Ft. Worth, TX
Worked primarily in the adoption unit with special focus on home studies of potential foster/adopt homes. Also accompanied investigation staff on family interventions and removal of children from neglectful and abusive environments.

June 1996 to April 1997 Lawrence G. Anderson Child and Adult clinic; Assistant Director; Dallas, TX
Assistant director to Lawrence G. Anderson, LMSW-ACP, a leading psychotherapist in the Dallas community. Directly involved in home-based intervention to at risk juvenile offenders. Conducted individual, family, and children’s group under the direct supervision of Mr. Anderson.

January 1993 to March 1996 Southern Oklahoma Resource Center; Social Worker; Pauls Valley, OK
Actively involved in the ongoing treatment planning and care of a twenty-bed unit. In addition, was active in the direct rehabilitative care of clients at the Resource Center, which involved ongoing psychological consultation and social advocacy. Also conducted direct intervention and assessment with autistic children.
